Alaina Suddeth was born in Rossville, Georgia, on the 8th of November, 1994. She was married to Kristy Suddeth, and J. J. Suddeth. Her father is an engineer for process in Chattanooga, Tennessee.Alaina started to perform at age 3. in a choir for children and at an annual resort with karaoke, she gave her first performances in public. She sang in church, restaurants, holidays with family and any other gathering within 30 miles of her home. Alaina aged of 8, won at the age of 8 Southern Stars Pageant Talent Competition. Following that year, Alaina was asked to perform on the Riverbend Festival's Kids stage, the Talent Stage. The event allowed her to perform on the festival's main stage in the age of 12 after she had played there for the past few years. At the age of 10 years old, she went to Orlando for the American Model and Talent Competition. She beat 1,500 contestants to take the title. Alaina was a part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association Children's Choir. Alaina first visited Nashville at age 12. She sang in Tootsie's and other local bars along Broadway. Alaina is the winner in 2009 in Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park's WinniSTAR young talent contest. Alaina was inspired to sing by her cousin, Holly Witherow, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Prior to Idol, Alaina worked at CiC's Pizza. She graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe Senior High School located in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
